Privacy & cookies.

Eurowaves is built to respect your privacy by default. This page explains what data is and isn’t collected when you visit this website. Last updated May 30, 2026.

The short version

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not sell your data, and does not build a profile of you. Analytics are anonymous and cookieless, so no consent banner is required under the GDPR / ePrivacy rules. The only place you knowingly share personal data is the subscribe form, which is operated by Substack.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are read, in aggregate. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and cannot be used to identify or re-identify you across sites. No personal data is collected. See Vercel’s analytics privacy policy.

Subscribing

When you subscribe, your name and email address are submitted to Substack, which hosts and sends the Eurowaves newsletter. Substack is the data controller for your subscription and processes it under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. The subscribe form is embedded from Substack, which may set cookies necessary to operate that form only when you interact with it.

External links & embeds

The archive links out to issues hosted on Substack, and the Partners page links to third-party publications. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. As this website itself stores no personal data, requests about your newsletter subscription are best directed to Substack — or email andreea.coscai@gmail.com and we’ll help.
